Alex Chapey, CFA

Alex plays a key role in sourcing and underwriting value-add opportunities for acquisition, capital raising, and investment management. Prior to joining Matheson Capital, Alex led acquisitions for Monomoy Properties, where he doubled the size of the Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS) focused portfolio. Before moving into private equity real estate, Alex worked in traditional finance, at Bank of America and JPMorgan. Alex has obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and graduated from the Villanova School of Business in 2016.
